Pediatrician and Adolescent Medicine Specialist

Jorge joined the Alberta Children's Hospital in 2007 and is also a clinical professor of pediatrics and psychiatry at the University of Calgary, where he researches child health and wellness. He’s spent much of his career in adolescent health, and for more than 10 years served as the pediatric director of the Eating Disorders Program at the British Columbia Children’s Hospital in Vancouver. Jorge is past chair of the Adolescent Health Committee of the Canadian Pediatric Society.
